DEFINITIONS

L-SCoM adopts a definition of logistics and supply chain management as:

“ The process of planning, implementing and controlling the efficient, cost-effective forward and reverse flow and storage of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods and related information from the point of origin to point of origin to point of consumption for purposes of meeting customer requirements inter-alia the total supply chain management process.”
