HISTORY

Persatuan Logistik Selangor & Kuala Lumpur (PLSKL) was formed in 1997 by practitioners interested in improving the strategic importance of logistics and supply chain management, in particular, the Klang Valley area.

In February 2002, a new and aggressive team of committee members were elected to move the association to new heights.

In October 2002, the association was upgraded to national status, known as PERSATUAN LOGISTIK MALAYSIA – LOGISTICS ASSOCIATION OF MALAYSIA.

As it has elevated itself to the national level, its mission and objectives were redefined, its structure re-organized and its implementations were approached with a new vigor to reflect the practice of logistics, with marked improvements in techniques and technologies of supply chain management nation-wide.

August 2003 – We are now known as LSCoM – Logistics & Supply Chain Association of Malaysia (PPP/SEL- 87/98 (15)
